TIDTAYA SINUTOKE (ฑิตยา สินุธก)is an award-winning musical theatre composer, writer, and musician based in New York City. Originally from Thailand, she has a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music in Boston and Master of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Writing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Her composition credits include: HALF THE SKY (5th Avenue Theatre's First Draft Commission), SUNWATCHER (The Civilians R&D Group), CLOUDS ARE PILLOWS FOR THE MOON (Yale Institute for Music Theatre, Kilroy's Honorable Mentions), HART ISLAND REQUIEM (The Civilians R&D Group, Polyphone Festival), and WATER IS LIFE (NYMF - How The Light Gets In). 


Tidtaya was awarded a Jonathan Larson® Grant (2017), the Weston-Ghostlight New Musical Award (2020), and the Billie Burke Ziegfeld Award, presented by the Ziegfeld Club in partnership with New York Stage and Film (2020). She is also a recipient of the Composer-Librettist Studio at New Dramatists (2014), Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project (2015), Johnny Mercer Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals (2016 & 2018), Robert Rauschenberg Residency (2016), Anna Sosenko Assist Trust Grant (2016), EtM Con Edison Composer-in-Residence (2016-2017), First Draft Commission by the 5th Avenue Theatre (2018-2019), Musical Theatre Factory's Makers Lab (2019-2020), and Rhinebeck Writers Retreat (2020). A proud member of ASCAP, the Dramatists Guild, Maestra, and Thai Theatre Foundation.
